The Best Deal for Dinner on Main Street Park City, Utah

Last night we had dinner at the Wasatch Brewery.  It’s located @  250  Main Street in Park City, Utah (Click on this link for Google Map).  Now the Wasatch Brewery is known for its home brewed beer.  They really do brew a good collection of beers, well crafted and a nice variety.  (BTW, if you want the best deal on beer here at the Wasatch Brewery buy a “Growler”.  It’s a 1 gallon jug and they fill it up with any beer you like for around $7.00!  Best of all, you can take it home with you.  Who says that Utah has tough liquor laws?)

In addition is it beers, the Wasatch Brewery also has a great food menu, salads, pizza, you know all the good bar basics.  However, instead of having dinner at the bar you see when you enter the brewery or in the adjacent dining area, make a quick right-hand turn and walk upstairs to the “Cantina”.  The Cantina is a locals’ spot, one of those places if you don’t know it’s there you won’t find it.  They have pool tables, big screens all around and a full service bar, aka not just beer served in the Cantina.

Now, for the “best deal for dinner” deal.  On Monday nights, starting with Monday Night Football and running through the college bowl games, the Wasatch Brewery serves “Slammers & Sliders”.  Slammers are 7 oz. Wasatch Lager brews that are very tasty, cold and served in an iced bucket.  Sliders are small pulled pork sandwiches, served with just the right amount of coleslaw.

All this is nice, but get this price… $1 slammers and 2 for $2 sliders! Yes, you can have 2 beers and 2 pulled pork sandwiches for $4.00  Old Town Park City, Utah on Main Street, gotta’ luv’ it!
